Admission Process - CLAT
Eligibility - A Pass in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Forty-Five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade for General/OBC/PWD categories.
Forty percent (40%) of marks or equivalent for SC/ST categories. There is no upper age limit for the UG Programme.

Courses Offered - B.A.LL.B(Hons.), LL.M., MBA, M.Phil, and Ph.D.

  • Program Structure: The B.A.LL.B(Hons.) program is structured across semesters with a focus on interdisciplinary studies. Students are required to complete a specific number of credits to graduate.

Campus Infrastructure
The campus is spread over a vast area with modern academic blocks, a comprehensive library, canteens, a health centre, faculty quarters, and well-maintained hostels for both men and women.
Sports facilities include a gymnasium, football, tennis, and basketball courts among other spaces for academic and community-based activities. The campus has high-quality wireless connectivity throughout.

Hostel Accommodation

  • Male Hostels: Ganga, Cauvery, Himalaya, and Hoogli.
  • Female Hostels: Nigiris, Narmada, Yamuna, Gangotri, Vindhyas (Annexe block), and Annapoorna (Mess Block).

First-year students are generally provided separate accommodation and allotted shared rooms.

Hostel Amenities:
Each student is provided with a cot, cupboard, chair, and desk. Hot water and laundry facilities, along with 24/7 electricity and internet connectivity, are available.

Note: Students are advised to bring their own mattresses, curtains, and bed-linen, as well as blankets and warm clothing for the colder months of November-January. Wardens reside on campus for assistance.

Admission Procedure
CLAT > Counselling > Admission
The UG-CLAT is a 2-hour test with 150 multiple-choice questions, involving sections like English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.

Cut-offs and Scores

  • General, SC, and ST categories: Specific cut-off ranks and scores vary each year and are based on CLAT performance.

  • SC/ST category - Approx. Rs. 3,23,815 per annum
