Admission Process - CLAT
Eligibility - A Pass in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Forty Five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade - General/OBC/PWD categories
Forty percent (40%) of marks or equivalent - SC/ST categories.
There is no upper age limit for the UG Programme.
Courses offered - B.A.LL.B(Hons.)
- The programme is taught across three tri-mesters each academic year.
- Completion of 60 courses before you graduate
Campus Infrastructure
- 23-acre campus comprises academic blocks with upgraded classrooms, a state-of-the-art library, canteens, a health centre, faculty quarters and ean & well maintained hostels for men and women.

HOSTEL ACCOMODATION
Male Hostels: Ganga, Cauvery, Himalaya and Hoogli
Female Hostels: Nigiris, Narmada, Yamuna, Gangotri, Vindhyas (Annexe block) and Annapoorna (Mess Block).
First Year students are generally provided separate accommodation and allotted shared rooms.
Second Year and onwards, students may choose between:
- Triple-seater rooms which may be partitioned into cubicles with a curtain;
- Twin-seater rooms
- Single rooms

NOTE - Students are advised to bring their own mattresses, curtains and bed-linen, as well as blankets and warm clothing

* Karnataka Students Category:
(i) Candidates with atleast 10 years of study in a recognized educational institution in Karnataka shall be ‘Karnataka Students.’
(ii) Others can apply if:
1. Children of defence personnel/ex-servicemen, who at the time of joining service, have declared their hometown to be in the State of Karnataka, and who have served or are serving outside Karnataka, corresponding to the candidate’s years of study outside Karnataka.
2. Children of Karnataka State Government employees who have served or are serving outside Karnataka corresponding to the candidate’s years of study outside Karnataka.
3. Children of serving or retired employees belonging to the Karnataka cadre of the All India Services (IAS/IFS/IPS), who have served or are serving outside Karnataka corresponding to the candidate’s years of study outside Karnataka.
4. Children of working or retired employees in the Central Armed Police Force service, who upon joining service declared their hometown to be in the State of Karnataka, and who have served or are serving outside Karnataka, corresponding to the candidate’s years of study outside Karnataka.

The UG-CLAT shall be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each.
there shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. These questions would be e
led across the following 5 subjects:
English Language: 28-32 questions, or roughly 20% of the paper
Current Affairs, including General Knowledge: 35-39 questions, or roughly 25% of the
paper
Legal Reasoning: 35-39 questions, or roughly 25% of the paper
Logical Reasoning: 28-32 questions, or roughly 20% of the paper
Quantitative Techniques: 13-17 questions, or roughly 10% of the paper
