Admission Process - CLAT
Eligibility - A pass in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of Forty-Five percent (45%) of marks or its equivalent grade for General/OBC/PWD categories.
Forty percent (40%) of marks or equivalent for SC/ST categories. There is no upper age limit for the UG Programme.

Courses Offered - B.A.LL.B(Hons.), LL.M., M.Phil, Ph.D., and various diploma courses.

  • Program Structure: The B.A.LL.B(Hons.) program is structured across semesters with a focus on comprehensive legal education and interdisciplinary studies.

Campus Infrastructure
The NUJS campus is equipped with modern academic buildings, a well-stocked library, canteens, a health centre, faculty housing, and comfortable hostels for men and women.

Hostel Accommodation

  • Male Hostels: Named after prominent Indian rivers and mountains, such as Ganga and Himalaya.
  • Female Hostels: Named similarly, including options like Yamuna and Vindhyas.

First-year students are generally provided with shared accommodation.

Admission Procedure
CLAT > Counselling > Admission
The UG-CLAT is a 2-hour test with 150 multiple-choice questions covering sections like English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.

Cut-offs and Scores

  • General, SC, and ST categories: Vary each year based on CLAT performance and are subject to change.

Fee Structure

  • General Category - Approx. Rs. 2,90,000 per annum
  • SC/ST category - Approx. Rs. 2,85,000 per annum
