The B.Des. programme is a four-year undergraduate degree offered at all five NID campuses: Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam.

Indian Nationals (General, General-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST): Born on or after 1 July 2004.
○ Indian Nationals (Reserved Categories - OBC-NCL, SC, ST): Born on or after 1 July 2001.
Indian Nationals (PwD Reserved Category): Born on or after 1 July 1999.
Foreign Nationals (Overseas Category): Born on or after 1 July 2004
 

Educational Qualification:

Passed or appearing for the higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations in the academic year 2024–25 in any stream from a recognised board of education (CBSE, IB, ICSE, or equivalent)
